Kele - Tenderoni

Tenderoni by Kele Okereke means alot to me today because Kele went from being in a very succesful rock band, Bloc Party, to starting his own solo career from scratch and this song is his first song that he released. It makes me feel as though i can be who ever i want myself to be and do anything i want to do as long as i focus hard on what exactly i want. At the moment my aim is to get good grades in A2 so that i stand a chance of being accepted into the universities I will be applying to, and this song pushes me to keep doing the work i am doing even though the lyrics do not match, when i hear the beat i automatically think of what work i  need to get done.

Green Day - American Idiot

Green Day's American Idiot reminds me of when I was in year 7 in the playground hanging around with my brother and his friends. I used to play this song almost every lunch time on the CD player I used to bring in. I am especially reminded of my brother's friends picking people up and throwing them in bushes. This song effects me socially as now I look back and think of how cruel it was to throw kids, who were usually year 7 or 8, in bushes.Whenever I hear the lyrics "don't want to be an American idiot" it reminds me of them doing it, and as the lyrics suggest i do not want to be an idiot, therefore it reminds me to never bully anyone.

Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody

Bohemian Rhapsody reminds me of my childhood, and when i was very young. i can remember my dad singing it loudly whilst driving on long journeys and trying to get me and my brother to sing along with him at certain points in the song, whenever i think of this song I think of my dad. He would always put on Queen as they are his favorite band. This song effects me emotionally and of the good times i have had my dad thus far.
